In 1930s British Guiana, an expedition for the Crown ventures upriver into uncharted territory, but as the jungle thickens, they begin to vanish one by one, consumed by fever, paranoia, and something older than history.WHERE THE RIVER ENDS is a haunting, slow-burn period horror set deep in the suffocating jungles of 1930s British Guiana. Inspired by real colonial expeditions and lost explorers' journals, the film follows a small British surveying party as they venture upriver into unmapped and myth-filled lands. When a young man dies in an accident, tensions fracture the group. As they push deeper into the interior, fever, paranoia, and something unknowable in the trees begin to consume them. As routes blur and time unravels, they come to realise they may be walking in circles, being followed or being led.Shooting on location in the dense rainforests, the film will be steeped in the unnerving beauty of the tropics, WHERE THE RIVER ENDS is a tale of empire, madness and the myth of control, where the land itself may be the final antagonist...SHOOTING 2026.

We journey into the frozen north to shoot ENGLISH BEASTS, a 15-minute proof of concept that serves as the chilling tonal precedent for our ultimate destination: the claustrophobic and unforgiving fever-dream jungles of 1930s British Guiana in our feature film, WHERE THE RIVER ENDS.Pre-production is well underway.
